  : Location of San Luis Bay Inn is the best. Good view of Avila Beach & pier from balcony. Staff is always friendly & helpful as much as they can be. Two-room lockout mostly well appointed. Outdoor seating always pleasant. Plenty of luggage carts at check-in/out
  : We are timeshare owners here with thousands of points to spend. Yet we could not get in for this stay. However when we went through the rental pay site, we got in immediately. Why are we paying for a stay when we already own plenty of points for this room? Answer: Diamond Resorts corporate greed, selfishness & unfairness to owners. Half of all rooms are now blocked out for pay rentals. They can't keep enough staff, so we couldn't check in until late afternoon on a slow Sunday. Why is there a telephone in room with no place to plug in. Two married couples staying, only one robe in closet. Also, should be better sleeping option than one king bed + two doubles for this combination. TV volume does not go lower than 8. No newspapers at all, either day. We'll probably drop timeshare ownership here after this year

  : There was no breakfast.
  : The resort Location was nice. Most of the rooms have Oceanview but our room was the least attractive of the rooms. Blocked by rooftop. There were plenty of rooms available when I asked to change but the new resort manager didn’t make any effort to help and poor at answering the request.

  : Restaurant was off site. Not sure if the hotel ever had a restaurant. Was it closed, coz covid?. We had to go to an office restaurant
