  : The building is in definite need of a thorough walk-thru, inspection, repairs and updates. The ceiling in my room had cracks from leaks. Looked bad. The sheer curtains were missing from my room's window. (Not the biggest problem but you could do better as the hanging rails and rods and so forth are still in the window. If you aren't going to install the sheer curtains, get rid of the hanging mechanism.) The AC was quite loud. There was a big project going on in the hallway from the reception area to the breakfast room. In the four days that I was there, no one had addressed it - a giant funnel of plastic hanging from the ceiling to a giant container on the floor. Not very attractive. Someone who cares should walk through every inch of the building, note problems (of all sorts from cosmetic to functional) and start a program of repairs. It would make a big difference to guests. I had the impression the only people who cared about the appearance of the rooms were the housekeeping folks. The problems described above go beyond housekeeping. What I experienced didn't exude "Quality." It was more like "Mediocrity."
  : Building needs a complete and thorough assessment/inspection for sub-par appearance. Actions should be taken to bring the building up to a more attractive appearance. Someone in charge needs to step up and take responsibility for the building's appearance.
