Disappointing
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : The rooms were nicely appointed and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was quite good. Parking was available. A couple of staff members were helpful and sorted a serious problem that arose. The Manager on the desk in the morning was very professional and apologetic for our poor experience.
  : I booked months ahead and requested a quiet room. When we arrived we queried the location of the room right above the entry and reception area where cars pull up, cases are hauled across pavement and doors slammed. It was obviously noisy, but we were told there was nothing else available. The man at reception was unhelpful and wouldn't do anything to assist. At 1am I became desperate and went back to reception. Another man was there who told us we were given the worst room in the building! He moved us immediately and we were able to retrieve something of the night's sleep.

  : The staff was very friendly
  : For $--- per night, I would expect a much cleaner room. The sheets had stains, the headboards hadn?t been wiped clean, and the curtains were filthy.

  : Location was awesome! Close to the freeway, Fred Meyer grocery store next door. Starbucks across the parking lot, Jack n the Box across the street and 2 different gas stations on the same street as the hotel. Slept great, nice and quiet.
  : Not much, other than on the 2nd day there was an odd gross smell in the lobby and the elevator. Don't know what that was about! It was gone the next day.

  : We were initially given a room on the 2nd floor straight in front of the elevator doors. We didnt even go in. I asked to switch us and we were given a room on the 4th floor which was clean and comfortable overall. No complaints. Breakfast was good. Eggs, breakfast sausages, coffee, the usual... My daughter appreciated the waffle makers so she could make herself waffles.
  : The hotel is right next to Fred Meyer and some wooded area. Many homeless people both by the store/hotel parking lot and across the street in the woods. I felt uncomfortable leaving my car by the hotel. When asked about the safety of the area the front desk clerk gave me a blank stare and a "Whaddayamean?" I explained. He said that as long as we didn't leave anything valuable in the car we should be fine. I doubt we'll be staying there again even though the hotel itself (once you make it inside) is not bad and a good value.
