  : The staff was fantastic and seeing my older kids, offered to let us swim past the pool close hours by 45 minutes. My girls were thrilled! It was the perfect wind down after a long car ride.
  : I didn’t like the scent of the shampoo and soap, but that is just being picky.

  : When I arrived, I was told that I did not have a reservation. I gave them my reservation # and I was told that they still couldn't find my reservation and that the Booking.com number was not the same reservation # that they used. I showed them my confirmation email and he said he still couldn't find the reservation. I was told that I should have called the hotel directly and not to use a 3rd party booking. I asked if they had 4 rooms that I could rent since they didn't have my reservation and I was told that there were no rooms available. After I left the lobby the owner came up to me out in the parking lot and told me that they had rooms, but the housekeeping staff called out and none of the rooms could be prepared for us. I canceled the reservation on Booking.com. Then found another hotel.I received a confirmation email from Booking. com that they contacted the hotel to get permission to cancel the reservation. The next day I received an email stating that the hotel did not receive an answer from the hotel.I called and the man at the reservation desk said he would check his email and refund my money.The next day I called to see if the money was refunded and I was told that I didn't show for the reservation so they would not refund my $. Apparently, Booking.com put one of my guests ( I had 4 rooms since I was bringing students to a leadership convention). The General Manager was very rude. I was told that my mistake was using Booking.com. I called the Choice corporate office and asked for help. They were going to check into the dispute. I stopped by the hotel as I drove 10 hours home. After much heated discussion, the owner told the General Manager to refund the money. The General Manager told me that she didn't agree but had to do what she was told. I asked for a receipt that she refunded the money. She said she was going to refund it in a minute and couldn't give me a receipt. She then said she wondered why I was still standing there.
  : The General Manager called me back and said she would only refund me for 2 days until I call corporate back and say that the issue was resolved, then she would refund the other 2 rooms. I had tried to call corporate and the offices were closed. She finally agreed to refund the rooms if I promised to call corporate. Then corporate called back and I shared the information with them. The General Manager did refund 3 rooms only. Corporate refunded me the 4th room and assured me that my concerns would be put in the General Manager's permanent record. wThere were many inconsistencies with the hotel's explanations. I wonder if the reason the hotel couldn't find my reservations was because we were a high school group ( The school name was on the van) or because we were a diverse group, The students told me that the owner was outside while I was checking in and he kept looking at them. He was walking a dog. I do not want to think that was the case but their behavior was very strange.
