  : love the location, the property, the proximity to downtown, the unique facility, and having 2 bedrooms.
  : the room is dated which lends to part of the charm but the walls are also thin and between the toddler next door and the couple below us having a conversation in their rooms there was a level of awkwardness in that we felt like we were part of conversations that we probably should not have been. the other thing we found somewhat humorous was that in our room the toilet faces the sink which is also perched next to the window overlooking the grounds and wedding venue which might be considered indecent exposure if you pee standing ( again funny observation, but we just kept the curtains pulled and tried not to bump them).

  : The breakfast was ok. Just one bagel, a couple pastries, cream cheese, 2 fruit cups , fresh oj and coffee.
  : My partner and I didnt like that someone from the property let themselves to put food on the table instead of leaving it outside or knocking first.

  : This is a beautiful property. The Lilac room has the best ocean view and an outside deck for sitting and enjoying glass of wine and a take out meal. The breakfast was very nice too and delivered on time to our room. Nice to be able to walk to Capitola beach area with many restaurants and shops. The room itself was beautifully appointed and comfortable.
  : As stated in other reviews this is an historic property and the walls are thin. While we were not bothered most of the time one evening it sounded like furniture being moved above us. I think some rooms may be quieter than others.
