  : Bad experiences! The price is sky high 5-6 times vs normal (normal 120 vs 660 USD per night per room) rate during UIUC commencement time periods. Feeling really bad for charging that much money and not adding more quality service such as increase breakfast quality, adding additional welcome reception etc.

  : We had high expectations for the location based on the reviews and ratings on Booking.com
  : We were planning our trip a week before and called Best Western to make sure we would be able to check-in late to the hotel since we would be arriving past 10 p.m. The person who answered seemed to think we were arriving that same evening but I clarified twice that we had not booked yet and were not coming that night but instead the following week (there seemed to be a language barrier). When I finally went to book the stay through booking.com the website defaulted to that same day, thus mistakenly Booking us a week in advance of our anticipated stay. Apparently since we proactively paid prior to our stay this was non-refundable and Best Western refused to work with Booking.com or to give us our money back, sighting it as a Booking.com issue and then at a separate time, accusing us of being a no-show, implying that when we called we had said we would be there later that night, when that was never the case. Simply pulling the call log from that day would resolve this accusation. We didnt even want a refund, we just wanted to correct the booking date. We received horrible customer service from both Best Western and Booking.com leading to a charge for a hotel on a day we never intended to stay there. If Best Western's management would have looked into this properly and even allowed us to speak to them, we could have cleared this up. Instead they wrongfully took our money and we ended up finding somewhere else to stay for our trip. We will NOT be using Booking.com again, but shame on Best Western for not even trying to work with us.

  : We liked the waffle station. Workout room did not have wipes to clean equipment & when I asked, the attendant looked at me puzzled. We liked that there was floor and not carpet in the room. Hallways very dark. Need to make lighting more bright.
