  : Quiet, comfortable rooms. Comfortable bed. Quiet, efficient window unit for heat/ac. More modern and luxurious than I expected. Nice setting. Window looked out onto forest. Walking distance to visitor center, spectacular views at Mather Point, and start of Rim Trail. Surprisingly good food in dining hall, particularly collard greens and ratatouille. So nice to have full-service supermarket, called "general store", even though expensive, where we could get excellent sunscreen lotion, nutrition bars, local beer, etc. Efficient, friendly staff at front desk and dining hall. When our key card stopped working on second day, we called front desk. They said they would sent someone out with replacements in 3-5 minutes, and they did!

  : We were in Chinle for the solar eclipse, and that was close. So that was fine.
  : When we booked the hotel, we booked it because it had an indoor pool, which was not functioning when we got there. We understood there was some type of breakfast, and there was none. The air conditioning unit was accessible only if you stood on a chair. Would not return
