: Clean room, comfortable bed, nice and clean bathroom and shower. Good food in the bar lounge for dinner. Excellent service at the Players Club counter.
: The front desk person was extremely slow and didn't know how to operate her computer to check us in. Took nearly 25 min and it was a prepaid reservation. The buffet is only open evenings Friday and Saturday and Sunday noon to 5 for brunch. Otherwise bar food for breakfast/lunch/dinner during the week. Went back for dessert a little later in the evening and ordered it at the hostess stand to take up to the room. I was told it would take 15-20 min. I ordered the strawberry rhubarb pie and vanilla gelato which they touted on the menu. I checked back with the hostess 25 min. later as I noticed a couple bags came out and was on the counter behind her. No announcement or call out by the hostess was made but I was told that my order wasn't ready yet. I was standing nearby in plain view the whole time. After 42 min. passed I checked with her again questioning why it was taking so long. She turned and grabbed one of the same bags from the counter that had been there from earlier and here it was my order. I took the dessert upstairs and opened the box to find the pie was a small 4" diameter whole pie in a tin that was cold as if right out of the refrigerator. Never even warned up. The crust was tough and couldn't be cut even with the plastic fork and knife given with the dessert. The gelato was at least still frozen although it had been pre-scooped into a Styrofoam bowl and set in a freezer waiting to be served. So why would this crummy dessert even take 15-20 minutes to prepare much less than 42 minutes to be delivered?
