  : I like that the beach in front of the resort is not open to normal vehicle traffic and it is a short walk to good dining and entertainment.
  : I didn't like that most of the beach area was overtaken by chair and umbrella rentals and all of their accompanying vehicles with trailers. It left very little space to set up your own stuff. Our room also had some minor maintenance concerns that were a nuisance but nothing too major.

  : Pros: Ocean Walk as a whole is a great resort. The night staff was great. Unit 1601 is large.
  : Cons: Unit 1601 leaves a lot to be desired. it is in desperate need of an update. We had family members stay in the exact room layout 2 floors up that was in much nicer condition and more newly updated at a lower price point. There was mold on the ceiling. The kitchen and everything is outdated. No ice or water dispenser on fridge. The stove was in horrible condition; the burners were barely usable. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes. Be sure to check your credit card charges. The owner charges a non-disclosed petty 3% fee for the refundable deposit! They had no intention of refunding the security deposit until I inquired. When I inquired about the fee, this is the response I received from the owner: Ill return the processing fee of $3.04. I am glad you had a nice unit. You deserve nice things because you are really a special human being. Owner needs to learn about customer service. Instead of belittling clients and charging petty fees, they need to reinvest some of their overcharged fees into the unit. The WIFI signal wasnt strong enough to reach the second bedroom. The tub drain leaked. 2 lamps did not work. The unit was NOT clean, although the resort did a good job of having the resort clean. The sliding glass doors were filthy. The fridge/freezer in 2nd bedroom didnt work, and we lost a bunch of groceries. The second bathroom shower head was broken and sprayed out everywhere except where it was supposed to. It was definitely overpriced for what you get.

  : The units floors were dirty, the chair in the living room had a broken leg, the fold out bed didnt work properly, the dishwashers top rack was of its track and the air conditioner in the master bedroom didnt cool well and neither did the refrigerator.

  : The furniture was old and needs to be replaced. The shower head is rusty and falling out of the wall. The tile needs to be cleaned. The linen needs to be replaced. For $---a night I expected a nicer unit or at least something that was cleaner.

  : Location is the only thing we liked. Ocean view was beautiful.
  : As we walked in it smelled like dead fish and found out it was the garbage disposal. Mattresses need updating they were very uncomfortable. TV in master was ridiculously small. It rained our entire stay and that small tv did not help. Not much to do in there during bad weather, indoor pools were not warm enough. Everything was outdated, plumbing falling apart, toilets kept clogging up, showers were horrible making water get all over the floor. Place was dirty. We feel we were ripped off completely. We left early not wanting to stay any longer.
