  : Staying on canal park is great. Paying for location. We’ve stayed at 2 other hotels that were much better.
  : Loud rooms. Everyone had a dog which meant a lot of them were barking. People above us wanted to get their steps in before bed and in the morning. Rooms were old and need updates. The beds were so uncomfortable. The chairs just looked dirty. You could hear housekeeping complaining outside the door. The desk staff were not friendly or welcoming. I had a better experience at other hotels on canal park. For being a Hilton it did not impress.

  : The breakfast staff was extremely cordial and accommodating. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Even the maintenance man we encountered was nice. Overall, a great staff. The broad breakfast selection is helpful when you have younger children with you. The location is also good. Everything in Canal Park and surrounding attractions attractions is within walking distance, and one can go directly up Lake Street to north/south downtown, Skyline Drive, or up to Miller Hill.
  : The rooms are a bit on the spendy side compared to some other options in Duluth, but you know that when booking. The cheaper options don’t include the expansive breakfast offering (which is worth quite a bit when you have a party of six). Also, the location is great for what we wanted to see and where we wanted to spend time.

  : The location was astounding. We were close to several restaurants and shops. Canal park was a 5-10 minute walk away. The view from the breakfast area was absolutely stunning. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind.
  : We thought we were getting a room with lake view too, but we were so close to the lake walk that it didn’t really matter.
