  : Called to confirm hotel had power and was open Was told everything was fine drove from Mcallen to Hotel was told 40 to 60 percent of room did not have power or AC. Also was told the manager had called to notified people of Hotel status. Had to drive to Austin to find a room. Then drive back to Houston to pickup grand children at airport. Then drive back to Austin to continue vacation. Have used Holiday Inn for years. I under stand the changes a Hurricane changes everything but I called after landfall was told by call center every thing was fine. I would have just driven to airport the next day.
  : Was not notified Hotel only had 40 to 60 percent power. The call centers should of helped me find a replacement Hotel. No rooms 150 miles radius Houston. Drove to Austin Marott Hotel.

  : Other than the slight green mold on the bathroom waterfall faucet, the room was extremely clean. We really liked that the entire hotel was non smoking. The free parking and complimentary breakfast was a HUGE hit and a very big perk of the stay. (The breakfast was superb with a great variety and very tasty). The extra amenities were fantastic such as free WiFi, outdoor pool, and the indoor gym. The staff was friendly and overall it was a very nice stay.
  : As soon as we arrived at the property we were informed the water would be shut off for the first 4 hours of our stay due to maintenance and no credits could be given for the inconvenience. The second issue was with our room having a slight green mold on the bathroom sink faucet; it was a waterfall faucet which is why we could see it. I had also made a special request on my reservation for extra towels and blankets which the hotel responded with a confirmation that it wouldn’t be a problem but when we got to the room the request hadn’t been accommodated.

  : Close to where we planned to go.
  : Our vehicle along with about 20 others were broken into. EVEN WITH A SECURITY GUARD THAT SITS OUT FRONT.

  : Our car, along with ten others last night, was broken into with items stolen out of the center console. The vehicle was locked with nothing of value visible. The back passenger side window was broken out. How about some security in the parking lot?
