  : There was no ice maker on my floor but you could call down and have ice delivered to your room.

  : The decor and location were great, the view, not so much.
  : I didn’t appreciate the fact that when we arrived, just getting off work and in our work/construction clothing, we were greeted and informed they would see “what rooms were available” - this being after we prepaid for a deluxe king with city views. We were provided with keys to our room, and immediately upon exiting the elevator got a bad vibe. Stains all over the carpet outside our room(looked like blood, no joke) and then upon entering, discovered a TINY room with a bed in the corner, surrounded by walls. Literally a walk path and a bed. Nothing like what was offered and pictured when making my reservation. Not to mention their “city view” is the local bus station and county jail. I went to the lobby to inform them this was not the room I prepaid for, and was informed it was and they just look different depending on the room but they’re all the same. Mind you, there was no seating area, no oversized shower and vanity, no space at all, and a bed in a corner cubby. I returned to my room and informed my husband who then said, no. He went downstairs, spoke with a manager and was provided with a new room. Upon entering this room, I immediately said, this is what we paid for. Twice the size, huge shower, seating area, mini bar, double vanity, all of what the pictures showed.At this point I’m not only annoyed and feel disrespected, but also felt some hostility due to be stereotyped as soon as we walked into the lobby! I know you saw my painter clothes and thought “they’ll be fine with whatever room” but you were wrong. I work very hard. I paid for something specific, I want what I paid for. Do not attempt to belittle me and assume I’m less than, and deserve your closet/cubby of a room for over $300 plus valet fees.Enjoyed the valet attendants, they were professionalAnd kind. Appreciated the security that was on site, again very personable and professional. The server and host in the restaurant were excellent. The rooftop lounge, don’t get me started.
