  : We like the proximity to the things we wanted to do..Duval street, and the bouy.. It was a very quiet atmosphere. Staff was friendly.
  : No parking, had to pay to park.

Disappointing

  : Room was nice. Not the couple staying next door to us. It was absolutely ridiculous. Kept us up from 1 am to 3 am. I'm not sure why the front did nothing about it. The couple downstairs was not happy about it either,.
  : Besides the couple, the pool area was not very clean. The only common area where people could wait for their room.

  : So close to everything! Loved the old house and pool!
  : It was not as clean as I would have thought a Kimpton to be. Just not throughly cleaned, in corners of room and bathroom. Under bathroom sink. The beautiful chandelier at the door was so dusty.

  : Great location! Room and property felt fresh and updated. The pool area, although small, was a nice little oasis. Only two blocks away from Duvall St., and Mallory Square.
  : We did not like the being detached from the property. Although only three doors down on Caroline St., it felt like the building we stayed in was somewhat of an afterthought. Even just a few small additions (like it's own ice machine and water dispenser) would have been a huge help. The latches on the gates are quite frustrating. We witnessed many folks, including ourselves, having trouble with the gates as they 1) are not clear how to operate at first 2) require two hands to use - which is often not easy when carrying bags, luggage, ice, and/or water.

  : The room we were put in was right next to a busy road and there was constant traffic and noise the entire stay. Wouldnt stay there again because of that.

  : The room air conditioning unit was not powerful enough to keep the room cool, making it very uncomfortable.

  : Our room was located by the pool and had a private patio. The pool was generally quiet, there were always available chairs. The entire property was well kept and very cozy. Breakfast was included and was a nice surprise. Would definitely consider staying here again.
  : The room smelled like mildew and was damp. The air conditioning unit was loud and found it hard to sleep with it running.

  : the room was nicely decorated, the proximity to everything was great and liked that it had a pool.
  : the staff wasnt friendly or overly helpful.this is not a traditional kimpton with daily happy hour - you get a boozy welcome drink.no one told us at check in we could use amenities at the other kimpton locations throughout key west.we asked for a late check out, the kimpton website states IHG members can check out as late at 2 PM, hotel staff claimed never to have heard of such a thing.bike rentals are available however the bikes are not on-site at the hotel. the hotel needs to contact the vendor to have them delivered, which can take up to an hour, so plan ahead.this is an old building, on a busy street. road traffic and rooster cawing travel through the walls, doors and windows easily. there is no soundproofing, what so ever.
