  : I loved the layout of the facility and the check out receptionist, Felicity. Felicity was very pleasant and welcoming.
  : Upon checking in, I was at the front desk speaking with the receptionist, Deidre, there was a housekeeper near us using profanity loudly on her phone. I had my minor daughter with me and I was very perturbed. She continued using profanity after getting ugly looks from the receptionist and I. I could hear her entire conversation. She was upset because she was off of work and her transportation had not come for her. After getting my key for my room on the second floor, I proceeded to get my belongings out of the car. I get to the assigned room and it's clearly someone still checked in that room. I go back downstairs where it was a obvious shift change. The guy at the front desk had to go on the third floor to make sure my new assigned room was clean and available. I leave off second floor and meet him on the third floor. The new room , 342, was better but far from clean. There was hair everywhere in restroom and bedroom. I take my daughter out the room to go enjoy the pool and that was a terrible idea. There was at least 20 people in the pool. There was drinking and smoking around the kids that was in the pool. There was even a visitor of a guest that was bringing a hot bar b que pit next to the pool. They had a family that had a boy that appeared to be around ten working the hotel grill. This was a very unpleasant, aggravating visit. I loved the layout but my stay was very unwelcoming. Not to mention that there was a bug problem in the room. I didn't conclude this until my child awoke with bug bites on her body. This was the boiling point.

  : The room I picked on the first floor was not ready when I got there. The husband has a bad back, so we always try and stay on the first floor in the event the elevator goes out(which it did). We were moved to the 3rd floor. The stove top was out on it and had to pack up everything after one night and move everything next door with a working stove top. The staff was very friendly about it, but it was definitely an inconvenience because I missed seeing one of my son's practice in order to move our luggage from one room to another without any help.Breakfast sausage were not done. Need a little more breakfast variety.

  : How it was conveniently located near restaurants like KFC and chili's, and they had a good breakfast selection (eggs, cereal, oatmeal, breakfast tacos, bagels, toast, yogurt, pulled pork and sausage.)
  : Breakfast sausage could've been cooked longer, the room had a musky or moldy smell to it, the sheets, walls, doorknobs, and furniture were dirty. One of the elevators was out of order causing us to wait on the other elevator further away for a long time.

  : The ice machine didn't work on the second, third and fourth floors. Only the first floor ice machine works. Which causes a shortage One of the elevators broke causing inconvenience.

  : The location was not bad at all, able to get to many things in a short time span. Night staff was very nice!
  : The room felt very stuffy, the shower was not clean.

  : The staff was rude the fire alarm was triggered for no reason at all. We were placed in a room with a cracked bathroom sink bowl that was leaking and the bed and floors were filthy. If I wanted to stay in a motel 6 I would’ve paid for that but the hotel used to be one of the nicer hotels at affordable rates in Lafayette but I’m not sure if their under new management or not but it has since went downhill. I used to love staying here now I won’t think twice about it.
