: Overall the environment and the ease of living. The nature at the location is beautiful with lots of birds and some very friendly brahma chickens walking around. It is not very far from the airport or many important locations and has a small town vibe.

: The Banyan Tree B&B is a peaceful, beautiful property that was perfect for relaxing. The property is about 20 minutes from the airport/city, and yet less than a mile from a small town with shopping and restaurants. We found it convenient to visit Haleakala Summit and the Road to Hana. Helena was very friendly, and we loved the room

: The accommodation was very quiet. The room is good in size but only has a fan and despite the cooler nights and breeze sometimes the room still remained a bit warm for sleeping. The pool area is lovely. The breakfast delivered to your room had a large selection and a lot of food- we even got some the night before on a day we were leaving early. There was a washing machine and dryer- the washer was free to use and laundry powder was provided which was great for a longer stay. The location is great for heading to Haleakala and the Road to Hana, and the local town whilst only having a few restaurants had some great options.
: There was an old AC in our room so it is a shame it doesnt seem to work anymore. The hot tub was currently not working which was a bit unfortunate because we definitely would have used it.
