  : The room was recently renovated and was nice, new, and clean. The location had a marginal view of the ocean and sunset. There was plenty of parking. I guess the holel is a decent value for Malibu, but far from a good value in general.
  : Desk staff took care of basics but was more interested in talking on the phone with her friends than actually providing a welcoming. please customer experience. The overall property is run down with no amenities. The restaurant has been "under renovation" for several years with no evidence of any effort to actually reopen it. There is no bar and the only options for food and drinks are a drive somewhere else.

  : Staying here was a complete nightmare! They are liars and falsely advertise a beach view! You can barely see the ocean from the room thru all of the palm trees, buildings and power lines! Not to mention the blinds were broken and give you no privacy from people being able to see inside your room and watch you while you sleep! When you drive in it is so dark and dangerous, they fail to mention on their site that the drive is right by a three way stop sign!
  : Everything was terrible! Not only were there pubes in the tub, but there were blood stains on the comforter, and gross crotch stains on the couch! Oh and there are huge garbage dumpsters right outside your door! Parking was terrible as well! The heater not only smelled horrible, but it was so loud that every time it turned on it woke you up! This had to be the absolute worst stay I have ever had to pay for! I was suppose to be refunded for the nightmare I spent there, but have yet to see anything or hear back from anyone!

  : The location
  : Some of the slats in the blinds were missing or broken. There wasn’t a lock on the back door to the patio - it looked like it was taken out and never replaced. The room had no where to sit - like a sofa. There wasn’t a table. The bathroom vanity had a porcelain sink on it so there was no room to put toiletries anywhere. The glass on the shower wasn’t wide enough so the floor would be soaked after showering
