  : we had two king beds, which made our sleep very good.
  : the rooms and hallways were dirty, not nearly up to Hiltons standards. the outside of the building and the front desk/common areas looked nice and as expected. however the room was dingy, furniture was torn, the fake leather cracked and peeling off the chair, the wood part of table was gouged and scared, the sofa sank when you sat down. Homewood Suites have never disappointed us before. We’ve never stayed at any Hilton property before that was in this state of disrepair. it also was difficult to find a luggage cart both checking in and out. we had young toddlers with us and i didn’t want them to even sit on the carpeting. their feet were black on the bottom after being in the room less than 2 hours before going to bed.

  : Pool looked well maintained. Numerous grills to use if you didn’t feel like going to dinner, which were right by the pool. The one bedroom suite has a full size refrigerator, two burner electric oven, dishwasher and sink. Great if you have kids and/or staying numerous nights. Big lobby for breakfast, which was included in the stay! Breakfast included a waffle bar, eggs, sausage, hot and an assortment of cold cereals, yogurt and assortment of bakery/breads, and of course juices and coffeeLocation was about 25 mins to Beale St but not a bad drive.
  : Room I booked was not available so they gave us two rooms! I was happy about that. Unfortunately they were far from each other. We were traveling with our children and the second room was musty and smelled like weed. Thankfully, the one bedroom ended up being big enough for our family and we were comped the difference. The only complaint about the room we stayed in was there were leftovers from Olive Garden from the previous guests in the refrigerator . We did make front desk aware of above complaints.

  : The only thing I liked about this hotel was the beautiful and kind hearted staff. The people were of color and it was nice seeing people that looked like me working all the positions at the hotel from management to housekeeping.
  : I didn't like anything about this hotel but the staff. The hotel was unable to accommodate an early check-in and after waiting for 2 hrs we were given a disgusting room. The room was super run down and everything was old and torn up. The couch was unraveling, the carpet was unraveling, there were cigarette burn all over the floor, the covering on the chairs was completely off. Everything looked to be 30 years old and I heard from family members all their rooms were the same. The pictures are false advertisement, it is not nice at all. It was dirty with visible fingerprints on all surfaces and crumbs across the floor. THIS HOTEL WAS BEYOND A DUMP! It was worse than a Super 8 motel and I wouldn't recommend even a dog stay there let alone another human being. I did not stay there, and the staff was nice enough to give me a refund and allow me to stay at their sister location, Hampton for a discounted rate and it was much better.
