: The location was wonderful. It is walking distance to just about everything - the beach, pier, restaurants, CVS, Walgreens, and even Publix if you're up for a little longer walk. The place itself was gated and isolated from any chaos with a cute private pool and outside area. It is exactly as described inside. The only TV is in the "bedroom," which is simply a partitioned off area with a curtain. The only bathroom is in the bedroom area. The common area is small but has 2 surprisingly comfy daybeds (instead of chairs/couch) and a full kitchen table. Not a ton of room to relax inside, but it wasn't an issue for us. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, utensils and cookware and even some cupboard essentials. There were plenty of towels and linens and even beach towels and toys were there for our use. I was very surprised by how well "stocked" the place was!
: On my fifth day there (out of six) I noticed a black glob in my glass of water from the kitchen sink. I inspected the underside of the faucet and found it caked with slimy black mold. My 7 year old and I had been drinking the water the entire time but had just changed the faucet from "spray" to "stream" before this happened. After this, I notice the shower head had the same black slime. The owner offered to send someone to clean the faucets, but I declined as it was our last day and bought bottled water instead. The day after I arrived home, I received an accusatory message about a broken gate at the property. It was clearly broken when we arrived and we used it gently. I was accused of breaking the gate and told I would be responsible for the cost of the repair, but when I suggested the owner check the cameras at the location he stopped communication. Our only other issue was the noise from the surrounding units. It sounded like furniture was being moved for hours every night from about 9-midnight. It was loud enough to wake the three of us on multiple occasions.
