  : The location is amazing and the neighborhood is rather quiet. You can reach supermarkets, laundry stores and restaurants by foot within minutes and the next subway station (red line 28th St) is super close! We had a room of our own, which included a bunk bed, AC, wifi, a sink, a mirror, a microwave, a small fridge, mugs and glasses. All of these came in handy. The hostel itself was quiet, though you could hear the street at night (which is normal in NYC I guess) For young people traveling and not wanting to spent to much money it was a very nice deal I would say!
  : it's not that I didnt like the following aspects, I just think you have to be aware before you set your expectations to high: only way to reach the apartment is through some very narrow staircases, the bathroom is shared with the entire floor and pretty small as well (a toilet in one room and a shower in the other). the rooms are quite small too and the building itself is old and not in the best shape anymore but non of these bothered us much to be fair.
