  : The manager, his wife, and the staff were wonderful. Very helpful giving us information about the area. Pleasant to talk to.
  : The room was filthy. The general appearance of the motel was trashy. Junk piled up behind the motel, even junk piled up on the sidewalk in front of the room next to us. My wife went to the dollar store and bought a spray bottle of Clorox to disinfect the room, table top, and bathroom. The microwave did not work. It was advertised as having a marina, there was no boat ramp, only a boat dock. That is not a marina. We prepaid online through your company so we could not cancel and look for another place. Won't make that mistake again.

  : The power went out and the staff knew nothing about the generator it had no battery and the owner was not in the states to help or come home.i only was able to stay one of the two nights paid for and having trouble getting my money back from the booking agent. This was an emergency situation due to the hurricane I was made to evacuate my camper I should not be charged for the second night I didn't stay. I should get my half of 227.70 back.
  : The fact that the owners left the staff in a bind and no back up for power

  : If your looking for a ho hum Holiday Inn experience with a crowded parking lot, surly hosts, and crappy Belgian Waffles the Suwannee Gables is not your place! But if your of the authentic persuasion and truly appreciate an old Florida motel complete with happy staff, wonderful views, and the ambiance of slow lazy river then you will not be disappointed.
