  : The rooms are large and quiet.
  : This hotel is dark. The stairs are dark and poorly lit. The lobby is practically unlit. The keypad for bothentrances is worn out. It necessitates standing in an unlit, outdoor corner and constantlytrying to get the worn out keys to respond. The same is true for the keypad that enables accessto the staircase. One of us had to take the elevator to the second floor, and then walk downto let the other person in. The coffee pot provides lukewarm water when it is not leaking. The refrigerator is tinyand will not hold a regular sized bottle. The room is also dark. The shower is decent. And of course there is no cable so you mustfool arond with streaming services. The owners presume that everyone is 25 and does not care about light. It is a sublty ageist place. Maybe you think that is cool. We did not. We had to use a flashlight on the stairs. Also - the owners must have bought into the myth that Queen Village is completely crime free. It is not. So forcing gueststo stand outside in an unlit cove, trying to get the keypad to work is simply wrong. Strangers - especially strangersto a busy, American city - may not understand that that is a vulnerable position for them. We live here - so we know it isnot a wise move on Sonder's part.

  : It is in a great location.
  : It is incredibly unsafe for a solo female traveler. They have an unsecured side door and a homeless man came in one night and terrorized and threatened the entire building. There is no front desk and no security so he continued to come back all night and the next morning. Aside from the deranged man the walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors cough, and talk and you can feel every footstep in the hallways. The showers weren’t clean, and this entire stay was uncomfortable and unsafe.

  : I'm really unsure the reviews for this property are reliable. The property has no reception desk (I wonder how people rated the staff since there's basically no one there - I stayed from Sunday-Thursday), no one to help in case something goes wrong (you need to call or chat via the App and wait for someone to come over) or a safe place where you could leave your luggage (there is a shared luggage room where you can leave your stuff but it is accessible by anyone staying there, and there's no one looking over). I booked this property expecting to leave my luggage and laptop at a safe place, but couldn't do it. First, there is front desk staff. I arrived 5 hours before check-in time and had to wait until the room was unlocked (at 4 pm) to leave my luggage there. If I knew it, I would have chosen another property if this was clear from the start (for me this one is not a hotel, but a group of rooms that can be unlocked by an authorized guest.). Second, the room was noisy to the point I couldn't sleep neither at the day of my arrival (Sunday) because the rooftop music was too loud. Not only that, but there's some sort of continuous noise coming from the heating or ventilation tubes all through the night. It was a nightmare. Besides that, my room had a Wifi repeater that was blinking a white light at all times. And finally, in my last day I was awake at 5 am by a beeping sound. I left the room around at 11 am and discovered the beeping sound was coming from the fire alarm or entrance control system of the front door, which nobody was taking care of. It was unbelievable.
