  : Location x3, ocean front porches, fire pits, heated pool, hot tub, grounds, onsite dining, nice staff and other guests, walkable to surrounding hotels and other amenities (spa/dining)
  : If modernization is important to you, you may prefer another hotel. Even though the hotel is older, it is bright, clean, and has everything you could want for a very affordable rate.

  : Heated pool and hot tub were great. The beds are very comfortable. Fire pits are easy to use.
  : My reservation originally said partial ocean view. I ended up with no ocean view.The website said fridge and microwave were in the room. We had to request a microwave. The blackout curtains were very worn and showed.We also didn't have a way to plug the tub for a bath.

  : The room was spacious and airy, with a large and comfy bed. Although we weren't directly overlooking the sea, there was still a nice balcony view. The bathroom was well appointed with plenty of soap, shampoo and towels provided. The coffee making facilities were very well hidden in the cupboard! It was handy having the Spyglass restaurant a short walk away. We enjoyed afternoon happy hour (3-5pm) drinks and snacks, and breakfast there the next morning. (Note they don't accept $50 bills during the breakfast service).
  : The balcony wasn't very private, the dividing screen between us and next door was chair height, so we had no privacy. To make matters worse our neighbours were smokers so we retreated inside to get away from the stench and fumes, which somewhat ruined our relaxing afternoon on the balcony. There was also a party of raucous women who were at the swimming pool all afternoon (again, ruining the peaceful experience). It would have been useful to have clear signs to the footpath to the beach/coast path.
