  : Hotel Did not honor the Reservations made through Booking.com even though I showed the Email Confirmation. When asked if they had rooms they said yes but at a higher rate. We failed to contact Booking.com for help. We either had to give in to their extorsion or find a deal somewhere else at last minute. Thank God for PriceLine.
  : Being treated like we were stupid and didn't know the hotel was trying to take our money. Not being able to contact a Booking.com Customer Support Agent to help us in a pinch.

  : Breakfast was OK. Bed was comfy.
  : The house keeper wrote us a welcome note on a dirty piece of paper which didn't make me feel like it was a clean room. The shower was clogged so we were standing in water while showering. They asked me for a $100 deposit like we were going to tear up the room with 2 kids when we checked in at 11 and had to check out at 11. We literally all fell asleep right away. It's still pending in my account and I'm home already. They didn't ask our accompanying friends for a deposit.

  : I advise being careful with the deposit, as you may never see it again. This is my second year traveling around the USA. I was on the West Coast last year and this year I visited most of the East Coast. I stayed in about 49 different hotels of various levels and standards, but I have never been treated this way before. At the time of checkout, the front desk employee misled me by telling me that she would transfer the deposit money to my account (I paid it in cash), instead of giving me cash back. I am not obligated to know whether Booking provides the card details to the hotel or not. The hotel employee gave me this information, so I did not question it, even though it seemed a bit strange. A few days later, I wrote to the hotel asking when I would receive the deposit and learned that since the deposit was paid in cash, they would only return it in cash. I had to come to the hotel to pick it up in person. At that point, I was already in Florida, about 1,000 miles away, which I informed the employee about, but it was to no avail. Despite my request to transfer the deposit to my account and my willingness to provide card details (this is when I learned they did not have such data), the employee completely disregarded me and showed no interest in helping. I recommend customer service training for the employees, as it is severely lacking here. Generally, the employee misled me, whether intentionally or not, I do not know. Now I am being punished for listening to and not questioning his words. I feel deceived, lied to, and robbed. I intend to report this and also write to Best Western headquarters because I did not expect such a lack of support from such a large hotel chain and not even an attempt to resolve the issue. Zero support despite my proposals to solve the problem, the front desk employees simply did not care.
