  : Huntington Lake is a beautiful spot, with few places to stay so that is why we booked here. The drive to Mono Hot Springs is long, but worth it, also some good hiking near by. We had perfect weather. The manager, Sarah, was very nice about my complaints and she said they are working on improving the facilities...I hope that is really true.
  : The "resort" is anything but that- when you drive up there is construction going on and they have left building materials, furniture, and other junk and trash just laying around. We expected a modest room, but it was filthy and grimy on the windowsills, the curtains, the dishes. We only had 1 metal spoon, 1 knife, 4 forks, 2 coffee cups. No dish drainer, no towels. The bed and sheets were fine and the heater worked- that was good.

  : Upon arrival the entire cabin smelled of gas, we were able to find that it was coming from a random pipe in one of the bedrooms and turn it off. We then realized that the stove/ oven and fridge did not work and called the property manager who gave us access to the kitchen in a much smaller unit. This made it possible to cook and not have our food spoil however we had to transport food back and forth and could not store food in the unit which our family of 7 was sleeping in. We reached out to the property owner asking for a partial refund because although it was inconvenient we did still use the residence because we had driven 2 hours to get there. Even though I feel we were very patient they did not even respond to our message. We also put in a formal complaint with booking.com and have not gotten a response. It's very disappointing because we use booking.com for all our vacations and have never had an issue. I would have thought they would have taken care of this in a more professional way since my complaints were not nit picky. I would definitely not recommend staying here it was more like a tent then a cabin because nothing worked.

  : I love the location. I like the rustic cabins and area.
  : The customer service I get every time I have had an issue with my booking. I had had cabins swapped out for smaller units and wrong bed descriptions in which my kids slept on the floors. This has happened twice to me.

  : For one we got a cabin that one door didnt lock. Stove didnt work. It was a little dirty. I believe we got the oldest cabin there and it needed a lot of work. All other cabins where all been remodeled. And cabin I was supposed to got when I made my booking. Should been cabin 10 instead we got cabin 9.
