  : The hotel itself is beautiful, with a relaxing pool and well-maintained grounds. We stayed in a king suite which was spacious and provided a comfortable home away from home for our four-night stay. The Spaniard restaurant on-site was a highlight, offering a nice selection of quality food options.
  : Our stay at the Hilton Hotel Alba in Tampa was a blend of relaxation and disappointment. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a relaxing pool and well-maintained grounds. We stayed in a king suite which was spacious and provided a comfortable home away from home for our four-night stay. The Spaniard restaurant on-site was a highlight, offering a nice selection of quality food options.However, our experience was marred by a significant issue. On the second day, our toilet overflowed, causing water to leak all over the bathroom floor, down the hall, and into the bedroom. Maintenance responded promptly and used a dry vacuum to remove the water, but the floors were left wet. An hour later, housekeeping came with a dry Swiffer, which was insufficient for the situation.We requested a thorough cleaning and left for dinner, expecting the issue to be resolved upon our return. Unfortunately, we returned four hours later to find the floors still wet, the carpet under the bed soaked, and water seeping through the hardwood planks. This level of cleanliness is unsanitary and unacceptable. When I called the front desk, I was informed that only one housekeeper was available, who was busy with other rooms. Given the health risks associated with unsanitary toilet water, this should have been a top priority.We requested a room change and were moved to an ADA-compliant room, which was not as nice as our previous suite, adding to our disappointment. Additionally, the steps outside our door were littered with dead wasps throughout our stay. We documented this issue daily, finding 20-30 dead wasps each day, which is both gross and unacceptable for a property of this caliber.In summary, while the hotel’s amenities and the restaurant were commendable, the handling of our room situation and the lack of cleanliness outside our door significantly impacted our experience. We hope that management addresses these issues to ensure a better stay for future guests.

  : Check in was a slight hassle. I booked through hotels.com with 2 rooms under my name. Hotels.com made me put a name for the 2nd room so I put my friends name who was staying in that room. The person doing check in slightly argued with me that I only had 1 room instead of offering to help look into it further and see what the issue could be. She did provide us with a free drink card after check in which was nice but of all the hotels I’ve stayed in, this check in was slightly complicated but would not stop me from staying again.

  : The property seemed nice but because the hotel payment system didn’t work we never got to stay at the hotel
  : We arrived 3am, the guy at the front desk tried to process our payment, none of our 5 cards worked, it was clear there was a problem with the hotel payments system. The front desk had zero interest in helping us,so we went to another hotel 5 min down the road, where everything worked fine and we checked in and had a great stay
