  : 1) The suite was very cold. Air conditioner controls did not respond. Finally I resorted to turning it off entirely.2) I have a back injury that does not allow me to lie flat. Usually I'm obliged to sleep sitting up. However, both the sofa and the chair were too uncomfortable to permit me to sleep that way. Instead I managed to fall asleep by lying on my side on the sofa (not in the sofa bed). The sofa was rigid and hard, and that made for an uncomfortable night. I have been suffering severe hip pain (same side where I was lying on the sofa) since I returned.

  : The property is newer than the Tarrytown SpringHill Suites. The rooms were more modern and super clean. I loved it.

  : It was a wonderful stay at the Springhill Suites hotel in Tuckahoe. Bedrooms are gorgeous and the hotel itself looks beautiful in an otherwise unimpressive block. The hot breakfast is plentiful and top notch (I got there early). Pro tip: if you like hot eggs with your meal make sure to get them last as the toaster takes upwards of 4 minutes to lightly brown a piece of bread. The lighting in the room is ample. The floors are tile and wood and the mattress is sealed (all excellent bed bug prevention). The door is strong and slams with a solid thud.
  : On the downside, as of this writing, the hotel does not accept mobile payments with Apple pay/Google pay/Samsung pay so make sure to bring your physical credit card. Then there is a questionable initial "surcharge" for potential purchases the hotel assumes you make during your stay.  This is bizarre in my view. The sales person at the hotel says I'll get it back after checkout. And that very solid door you have in your room? Well others have it too. If you're a light sleeper you're going to hear them slam shut for every room within walking distance. Pro tip: put the sign on your door that you are sleeping unless you want to be woken up at 8am. Housekeeping came to the door twice presumably to clean the room.

  : Lighting in the room. It was too dark. Floors with no carpets. No kitchen aid. No extra sink. Breakfast was very bad, no variety, and on the last day, there was no option of eggs without meat. Lots of space was wasted in making clauset.
