  : The room itself seemed to be clean until we took our shoes off. The floor was absolutely disgusting and I don't think it had been mopped at all. The hallways had hair balls and looked like no one had swept them in months. And not just sand, that is expected at a beach hotel. I would not stay here again. Fine for 1 night but not more than that.

  : The staff was very friendly. The hotel was close to the beach and shopping and dining.
  : I want to be clear. i really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.The following things by no means would make your stay horrible, but I think it is important to set expectations for anyone who may be reading this review.This hotel is not on the beach. There is a public parking lot between the hotel and the beach. If you get an ocean view room, you can technically see the ocean, but you are really looking out over a busy parking lot. The pictures make appear that it is on the beach, but behind that dune is the parking lot. The hotel is an older hotel and you can see some signs of that. You can tell that they have done some upgrades, though. I did not have a shower curtain.

  : I love the location of Hotel Tybee. I love that it has two pools but also within walking distance of the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean
  : Two of my three night stay, the folks staying in the room next to ours was very loud. Sounded a lot like drunk domestic issues. But we called and complained the second night and hotel management addressed it.
