: A very beautiful hotel with a boutique feel. The free shuttles to Wailea were very useful. The room was clean and modern. Perfect for a honeymoon.
: The cocktails and restaurant was astronomically expensive and it's a shame that hotel guests don't receive any kind of special discount for these. If you have absolutely no budget at all, this won't be an issue.

: Very quiet and peaceful for the most part. Certainly a place to relax and recharge. The room was spacious, clean and well-appointed. Staff, were friendly, responsive and very helpful (in particular, Leah, the Manager of Guest Services). Little extras like complimentary snacks in the room was a nice touch.
: We loved the pool area but had to leave on several occasions because the bartender was so LOUD, obsequious and talked incessantly to other staff and/or guests. He left on vacation during our stay and, as a result, the pool area was so lovely and peaceful. Some guests may enjoy this type of non-stop banter but he was so loud that we could not avoid hearing all of his conversations and could not concentrate on reading or our own conversations. We had to return to our room to get some peace and quiet and escape the constant chatter at a volume that was way too loud! It was unfortunate because the pool area is otherwise so beautiful and the other staff were so lovely. The food was very good but not great and overpriced for what it was. The birdcage, in particular, was a disappointment. The music was way too loud and we were not impressed with the food. We tried it twice and did not return. Although a minor thing, it would have been nice to have a full-length mirror in the room.The wifi reception was not very good.

: Suite was too close to the road and there was a construction site across the street. Lots of road noise which takes away from the serenity.
